PRESIDENT'S EDITORIAL

Developing the nation is an objective, developing the region is a duty, we cannot claim to have new initiatives if we do not first make local development a priority. The ZANZAN district is located in the North East of Côte d'Ivoire, bordering Ghana and Burkina. It unites two regions and currently has more than one million inhabitants spread over 38,000 km.

Zanzan is above all a district of opportunities: one can invest in the fields of agribusiness, education and health, tourism and culture, mining, transportation, real estate, minerals, without forgetting the field of infrastructure. It is therefore obvious that we have set up in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Côte d'Ivoire, the Kroubi Week.

During four days, national and international companies will meet the opportunities of the region around conferences, cultural events, exchanges and discoveries. To promote the cultural and agricultural potential of the Zanzan district to enhance the uniqueness and plurality of its wealth. It would also be a question of sharing experiences, cultivating achievements to allow the youth to train and find a sustainable job. A real tool to fight against the rural exodus and forced immigration which has become a real national concern.

Our challenge for the future is to build together, in cohesion and peace, a territory that will have all the facilities for the new generation. We must federate and make visible our assets and our know-how to be more competitive internationally.

I will put all my energy and strength into this initiative to build our territory harmoniously with all the elected officials and national and international partners. We will move forward while keeping the identity and originality of our district, while building our territory in cohesion. Optimize, rationalize, and see further Long live ZANZAN, Long live Côte d'Ivoire!
